Description from Little Round Chick: With all of the rain we've had spring is getting an early start. Some of the first plants to bloom are the succulents called ice plant. Ice plant flowers are generally very bold colors. Some bloom all year long while others just bloom in the spring. Much of the ice plant is used to help with erosion control and to provide fire breaks and some is planted just for the beauty.
