ChickyD aka Debra says:the golden pyrite or the rhodonite? I love the airiness of the filligree in the design!
How do y’all usually use filigree?
On Apr 28, 2009 at 4:09 pm #
Michelle Downy Chick says:This is gorgeous together! I love it!
Debra, I like to wrap filigree around pendants…

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:The rhodonite. Sorry, I wasn’t very clear in my description. I’m not normally a ‘pink’ person but I’m really liking this. As far as using anything, I’m very much a beginner at this so, to date, I haven’t used any filigree. I like it a lot though; I’ve been eyeing up that Brass Acorn Leaves 4-Hole Connector but I’m not sure how I would use it. I just made my first necklaces yesterday, in fact! So I really am new to jewelery-making but not new to creating!

CAS says:Belly Chick, I have the Brass Acorn 4-Hole Connector, so very sweet. You could use it in a two-strand necklace or bracelet to space the strands apart. Congrats on your accomplishment, pictures please!

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Okay, I’ve just had to put the Acorn Connector in my shopping bag; thanks for the ideas! You ladies are a very bad influence, do you know that?! When I get brave enough, I will send pictures. I’m sure my simple creations will not come anywhere near what you ladies create! So someday….

Happy Chick aka Harriet says:Belly Chick, I like the rhodonite too, and really like this pick.
Btw, I also like rhodonite as a watercolor paint from the Daniel Smith co.
I got some of the golden pyrite (silver tone), but have not decided how to use it yet, as it is more brassy in some light conditions.

Shannon aka Silly Chick says:A beautiful stone doesn’t need an intricate design – a simlpler piece can really let the stones speak for themselves – that’s just what I think – I’ll bet your necklaces are gorgeous and can’t wait to see ‘em!! And this pick is a stunner for sure! :>

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Thanks so much, ladies! When I get brave, I’ll add some pictures. I’m still learning the ropes ~ or should I say, the wires!
Hehehe!!

(You do realize you have created a happy face monster, don’t you?)
On Apr 29, 2009 at 2:37 am #
Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:OK — now I’m trying to picture a happy face monster. LOL

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Hehehe! I don’t think that would translate very good on the screen!!
