Description from Elaine aka Belly Chick: This is another of my favorite songs but I had a hard time describing it until I had a look at the website of Alabama. Peach is the official tree fruit; the official reptile is the Red-Bellied turtle; insect is Monarch Butterfly; Star Blue Quartz is the gemstone; mineral is Hematite; the Racking horse (whatever that means) is the official horse. And of course, as the song says ~ 'Sweet Home Alabama, were the skies are blue'. A kind of weird combination but the best I could come up with!

Cuban Queen Crazy Chick says:Good morning Belly Chick!! Believe it or not, that’s actually one of my favorite songs too. I can’t exactly relate to the song, but there’s something about it I just LOVE!! You’re right, these colors are a weird combo but at least you’re accurate! lol

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Crazy for Movies, oohhh, that’s right, I forgot. Honest, I was thinking of the song for this one! lol

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Good morning, Crazy Chick! I think it is the beat of the song that got me because I really can’t relate either. But then again, I read somewhere on the net that it has exactly the same beat as the late Warren Zevon’s Werewolves of London and I love that one too!
See, Crazy for Movies, I told you I had a very eclectic taste in music!

Shannon aka Silly Chick says:The Racking horse is similar to Tennessee Walking horse. They are trained for the high-stepping, metered gait differently. Some horse-types feel racking is a bit more humane for the horse. I’m not a expert, but I grew up on horse farms and I’d rather be in a barn than a mall!

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Hi Shannon, thanks for your information about the ‘racking horse’. I had never heard of that before I did the research for this pick. The most I know about horses is, that if you’re not careful, they can kick you in the eye! Hehehe
There is a story that goes along with this comment; if you look back to some of my crazy picks, you’ll find it.
