Part of it could be my fibromyalsia, that’s a symptom of it.
Like you I sometimes have a hard time calming my brain down. So at night I need to sit in front of the TV and veg or read a book for a while. Sometimes sleep just doesn’t come or I wake up a lot. But I’m SOOOO greatful when I do get a good night sleep. I just take it one day at a time.

I could justify it, if I was actually thinking about something important. TV is good for me… back in the day, when you could still find b&w old movies on tv, that was best….. Does your fibromyalsia cause you a lot of discomfort?

More good days now. It’s taken years to get to this point but I’ve had help from a Holistic Dr. I decided I wasn’t going to use meds to cover up the symptoms. This silly disease started someway and there had to be a way to reverse it. Too much to go into here but my Dr and I worked on a lot of things to get it under control. Moving from town to the country has helped a lot too. I think a lot of what I was dealing with was also environmental. My Doc agrees. According to his research we were living in “a soup bowl” of toxins. Cancer alley they call it.
Whew! Sorry didn’t mean to spill my guts there and to get so long winded.
Thanks for asking though.
Good luck with the ADD. There HAS to be something that can help you with that too.

I am open to looking at holistic. A blend of that, plus Western, like dear Dr. Andrew Weil talks about…. Being a native Illini, I can imagine where in Indiana that you used to live – fresh, clean air is a GOOD thing!
