Description from Leigh D: Tally is a Silky Terrier whose hair would grow down to the floor if I let it - but because she is still so active I shave her short to prevent doggy tangles. Check out the ginormous ears she has in the pic!!! Sorry for the evil camera eye!

Leigh D says:She knows when the clippers come out what is about to happen – she just hunkers down and waits for me to pick her up. She really doesn’t mind gettting a haircut except when I get to the part where I have to cut her face hair and feet hair – she really starts squirming! After awhile she gets tired and doesn’t cooperate anymore and this is when I know it is time for the bath and then a Dentabone! I usually have to do this twice to get her good and even – but this time she stayed put for longer – good doggie!

Leigh D says:I took Tally to the groomers when she was a puppy but for many, many years now I have been doing it myself – saves money and no matter how many times I told them not to put that stupid bow in her hair they always did! Nothing looks more silly than a terrier with a top notch that they are trying to get out by rubbing their head on the floor!
