Happy Day! to Misfit Chick. I am not sure why you are called misfit because you seem to fit in very well with all the rest of the chicks.
Very eye catching, high energy pick!

Well, I’m a transplant to Kentucky, which is a state I love. But when I moved down here I got teased by my neighbors a lot for being from Indiana (a d@mn yankee, you know), which apparently is even worse than being from Ohio for a Kentuckian. :) So I started a blog where I became ‘Tucky Misfit. And I guess I got “Chicked” as Misfit Chick from that.

WOO HOO! Misfit Chick. Another Hoosier!
What is it about the rivalry between KY and IN anyway?
The Civil War is OVER people!

PS. Would you like a different chick name?
Or are you ok with Misfit Chick? I’m all for everybody being happy with their chickdom.

Thanks Sweet Chick. I’m happy with Misfit Chick. I could also be a book chick, but I’ve run out of book characters who inspire bead combinations for the moments, so Misfit Chick should probably stick. I don’t know what the deal is with KY and IN… when I lived in Indiana, I didn’t even know there was such a rivalry, but boy-oh down here, it is intense. Kentuckians have a strange sort of back woods pride.

Hooray for Hoosiers! I was born in Ohio and we moved to Indiana when I was 3 years old, so technically I’m a Buckeye, but I’ve always thought of myself as a Hoosier.

LE, I was born in Indiana, went to college in Ohio, did a brief stint in New Mexico (I LOVE the desert) before ending up in Kentucky, where I imagine I’ll be for a long time.

‘Tucky – THERE YOU ARE!!!!! I am so happy to ‘hear’ you!!!! Really got concerned about what might be going on!!! No matter now; you’re back in the nest and newly hatched – sort of a feathery baptism.

I was born in Evansville – but only lived there a short time! I considered myself a Southern gal through and through but don’t always understand the intense rivalry – I agree w/the other girls – You fit in here just fine!

Love your pick – I’ve been thinking about lavenders and yellows for both bead and knitting projects, so we’re on the same page! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Glad you’re back! :)

Well Shannon Silly chick! Where are you now? My husband and I used to live right next door to Evansville in Newburgh for 13 years! Moved to the sticks 6 years ago and love it.
Sounds like you’ve been away from E-town a long time maybe?

Since I was 2 or 3 anyway! Sorry! I’m in Memphis, TN now – and am really a native Tennessean since all my family, on both sides were from middle and east TN. I still like the idea of being just a little bit Hoosier, though!
