Mary S - Sweet Chick says:Anita, I have heard of White Buffalo and from what I gather it is usually howlite.
There is also a stone called Wild Horse that is often confused with it and sometimes the names are used interchangeably. They are however, two different stones.
Wild Horse is mined in Arizona (the mine is privately owned no new mining has been done recently so it is a very expensive stone.) Wild horse generally has a lot of brown veining and sometimes a pinkish cast to it.
Can’t say for sure what you have but I bet it’s howlite. The speckles are puzzling though. So maybe it’s something TOTALLY different.

Dizzy Chick Lori Z says:I used a bunch of shorter sections of wire. I used one 24 ga. to string the pearls. Wrapped that in a circle, with about a foot of tail on each end. Then hooked 2 more pieces about 3-4 ft. (bent in the middle) on to that circle. Then I made loops, literally all the way around the pearls. Used another strand to weave & loop through the first set. It kind of interlocks & loops as it goes.
