“The Color of Money”

Description from Harriet aka BeadVizChick: Although it can be called the "root of all evil," the color combos are really quite pretty. Food for thought.

Harriet, what a clever idea! Love the colors — just perfect for paper money and coins! :D Oh, where is that money tree when we need it? ;)

Root of All evil how about a root to a money tree! I would like that. If I could sprout seed beads I would be growing moneytrees thats for sure or at least a bead tree.

Yuck Brussel Sprouts for me and then Lima beans!

  7. Eeka Mouse
    Eeka Mouse says:

I used to hate lima beans, but my only experience with them were the nasty specimens in Campbell’s Veg. Soup. Nasty, pasty things the color of a tick! But this summer I had fresh ones, lightly cooked, w/ a little butter… they were a revelation!

Hum fresh might be the way to go. I have tried Brussels sprout fresh, frozen, undercooked, overcooked, sauted and every other way! They just tase bitter to me!

Dawn: My husband LOVES Brussels sprout and I HATE them. I have tried many recipes and most are just barely tolerable. The best one is sauteeing in a little oil and then adding a light tomato sauce and a little brown sugar. It covers up the taste pretty well!

This must be the color of foodies! haha! In my family I learned to eat the ‘odd’ veggies because I got more that way. So Lima beads, brussels sprouts… all good to me!

  13. Harriet aka BeadVizChick
    Harriet aka BeadVizChick says:

Well Cindy, you are a better woman than I am – can’t seem to tolerate those yucky things although I know they are good for me. I do love broccoli and carrots though! (Funny how this started out about money, but turned to veggies!)
