Description from DOG Chick aka Angela: My son is in Marine Boot Camp right now and will be going through "The Crucible" shortly. This is a 54-hour test of Marine skills including hiking for 48 miles in full gear, only 3 MRE's (meals ready to eat) and 4-8 hrs of sleep. Once he passes the test he will become a Marine. Oorah! Naturally, mom is a nervous wreck and needs to have bead therapy. LOL!

DOG Chick aka Angela says:18 days till I can see him! He loves it despite the griping he has done. He is tough and will make an Excellent Marine. Thank you both for your support. Lynn, I think we are both nervous. He has 2 weeks of intensive testing before he obtains the title of Marine. I do hope some of my spunk got into him but he really loves it. I found a small note written in 1999 when he was about 7 stating he wanted to be a Marine! LOL! Yes, I sent him a copy.
