“The Eye of the Tiger”

Description from Julie Shane: I remember when Tiger's Eye was brown and light brown. LB has some really awesome pieces with such a variety of colors! I think I have to re-think my opinion of Tiger's Eye!

Its a challenge to work with but I once made a pretty nice watch for a friend using 6mm rounds of Tiger, 6mm black onyx, with antique gold findings. Your choices give one all the options for working with tiger. Good one!

That red-gold tiger eye is really intriguing. Glad you featured it here. I used tiger eye and onyx in a necklace but paired them with silver. I think gunmetal might work nicely, too.

Hi everyone. Glad you all like the Tiger’s Eye as much as I do. I am SO in love with the 28mm diamonds. The reds and greens are to die for. Big and chunky! I have an old necklace with one 8mm baubble on a tiny chain… ugly as sin but sentimental as a bride’s maid gift. I never even glance at Tiger’s Eye since I tend to associate it with boring. BUT… This grouping of LB Tiger’s Eye puts a whole new spin on a long-forgotten stone.

Tiger eye has always been an exciting stone, but then I found out about Blue Tiger’s Eye.. Dark blue; Very , Chatoyant and reflective !

I just bought some of the blue from a different site and it has the gold and greens in it, too! I think LB’s Blue tiger eye is the same as that. (I just needed a different shape or I would have bought here) This is beautiful, Julie! i never noticed all the colors in those big diamonds before–thanks for showing us!! and now I need to have some! :)
