Description from Karokat: The truth is that my neighbors' grass IS greener than ours during the winter. Our lawn is brown, and will stay that way until April, most likely, because we have this weird grass called zoysia grass. It looks dead all winter - yuck! - so I look across the street at our neighbors' green grass and wish that we didn't have this awful zoysia grass!

And yes, Elis Mom, that’s Sadie in my icon – a picture taken by her foster-mom at the Dachshund Rescue before we adopted her. We fell in love with her long-distance and drove from NJ to IN to get her and bring her home.
