“The Lady Bug”

Description from Nicki - Taylored Designs: Last night my 7 year old daughter came into my room at 1:00 a.m. very frantic and very upset. Through her tears she told us she was so upset because there was a bug in her room. We were startled from being woken up by a crying child, so we may have been a little crabby. My husband was clearly frustrated and started to raise his voice to try and get her back to bed. I knew we had been down that road before and I didn't want to go down it again, so I got up to see this horrible bug in her room. It was a little lady bug on her ceiling. I removed the lady bug from her room, put her back to bed and proceeded to try and get myself back to sleep. Boy did I feel convicted! I realized that now more than ever we should all be counting our blessings....my daughter is able to walk, talk, express emotions...she's not in a hospital bed fighting for her life. How easy is it to forget how blessed we are? Too easy!
The colors that I chose in this pick are the colors I saw at 1:00 a.m. in my daughters room. All of the sparkly whites are for the glistening snow I saw outside of her window in the moonshine.
