Wonderful! I’ve been wanting to try those fluorite teardrops. I think the purple agate rondelles and the fluorite teardrops would be perfect together for earrings. I can also imagine very cool designs like the ones you were describing recently with the fluorite piggy beads and the 2 types of purple agate rounds.

I’ve seen the piggy beads attached to chain bracelets with jump rings for a design with lots of texture and movement. I’ve also seen them assembled into flowers, using wire or beading thread.

A fabulous fave! I have some of the fluorite and want one of the Grace Amethyst Treasure pieces – budgets are No Fun!

Attaching them to chain with jump rings is another great idea for how to use the piggy beads! I’ll have to get some more. I just wish they came in multiple size, because I think some really cool shapes with inside beads could be done if the diameter were, say, 0.5″ or so. The way they are now, beads have to be so small to “fit” inside that you can’t really see the beads that well. Might still be a fun design – have played around with it but haven’t actually tried it out.

Any purple is fine with me. :) The rectangle Grace Lampwork is drawing me but I’m trying to be good. I’m spending more time trying to create. I have lost count of how many pieces I have started and not finished.

Dill, some 3mm round Druk beads could fit inside piggy beads, maybe attaching them with headpins. There are also some 2mm garnet rounds on LB.
