Description from Cuban Queen Crazy Chick: The other day Roberto and I decided to take the scenic route home from visiting out of town and we ended up on some strange but beautiful country roads that we had never seen before. Old dilapidated barns and houses, lots of serene farmland, abandoned storefronts, beautiful mountain views, and a few interesting characters here and there...it was like being in another world only 20 minutes away from home!

Faithful Chick aka Faith says:Great Pick!! We did this on our 3 hour trip to Orlando yesterday. Everybody needs to do this once in a while. Be sure to put an atlas in the car along with a camera and binocculars. You can do some serious looking that way and come up with great stuff. I printed directions from Map Quest yesterday. Directions were a flop from them. Booo! My husband had to stop a man and ask 2 different places how to get back on track. He will never let me print their directions again.
