Description from Cuban Queen Crazy Chick: One of the things I love about living in upstate NY is that everywhere you look, you're surrounded by nature. There are so many great little secret spots to go swimming around here in the summer and I have such fond memories of these places.

movie chick aka susan says:love your pick!!!…where in upstate New York do you live if you do not mind me asking?…I lived in upstate (about 5 hours from the city in a little town called Spencer, approx 30 minutes from Ithaca) for the first 12 years of my life…I used to go to a park called Buttermilk Falls to swim

Cuban Queen Crazy Chick says:I’m not quite that far upstate, I’m in Kingston, which is 2 hours north of the city. It’s somewhat urban/suburban where I am but you can always see the mountains in the distance. I also used to live in Woodstock which is 20 mins. from here. Never heard of Spencer or Buttermilk Falls, sounds nice though!

You can find amazing beads from all over the world there and get a great little tour of Manhattan at the same time. You have to have a tax ID/wholesale ID for most of the shops but not all. It’s a good thing we’re 2 hours away cuz I would be there everyday! LOL
