“The Waiting Game Begins”

Description from Wolfkazzy WolfChick: I have two mini Aussie litters due, one on the 7th (yesterday) and one on the 9th. Got up three different times in the night, but still no puppies...I've been breeding this breed for four years and have yet to get red tris or red merles in the litters and I'm hoping for some this time so that's why I picked this bunch of colors with copper for the copper points on a Aussie :D Now to go check on the expectant mommas again!

    Are they here yet? ;)
My sister raises standard Aussies, and the colors she has are the reds (copper) and the black and white tri. They are sooooo pretty.
We have my son’s boxer for now, and I do like the short hair dogs as a rule, but the Aussies are really lovely. :D

Maybe we need to design an extra special collar for the first puppy that is a red tri! I’m pretty sure a collar in these colors with goldstone accents would be just divine, don’t you know. ;)

Oh I remember puppies. My doxy mom had 1 breach in two different litters. Will never forget calling the vet, the office assistant said walk away and leave her alone. Scarry but she did alright. Cat did the same and her babies were strangled in the cord. Dog had a hissy fit over the cat when she tried to take care of the dead baby kitten. I had to take that baby out of the trash 3 days in a row so he could see it wasn’t alive. He was the dog who thought he was a momma. He cleaned their little buts and ears. Made sure they stayed where they belonged. He was so funny.

Oh my word. I did it again. I love this pick. I guess I am getting old start off on a tangent and forget entirely what I was here for. Congrats on the new puppies and a gorgeous pick.

Thanks Faith :D don’t mind the stories, love reading them. Didn’t know cats could strangle in cords… it’s not like that with dogs. Seems too weak to me to do something like that and I’ve been breeding for over 12 years now. Breech are as common as the other way with dogs…the shape of a dog is different, they are pretty much the same size from the head to the butt.

Sure was scarry for me. Elly the office lady said next time Tiffany was having puppies, (like I was the mommy or daddy) are you sure you are ready for this. I told her I guess I was because they were on their way no matter what. We just laughed.
My vet must have loved me. One time in desparation I called the vets office when one of my female dogs was in heat. I had very little sleep in 2 weeks. I called and asked the vet could he give my male (all poor Beau did was whimper and whine) dog a sedative so I could sleep. I bet he thought lady get your self a sedative and go to sleep. Oh there were more stories
