Description from Brenda S: Dim sunlight turned to dawn, and the winds calmed. As the light continued to escape me, the full moon began to light up the winding path in the woods, as if to show me the way. My steps crunching on the leaves recently fallen from the trees, I stopped for a brief moment, having heard a strange noise and sensing the presence of another. Could it be I was not alone in this enchanted forest? As I struggled to listen carefully, I became sure that there were noises beyond just the rustling leaves, and I could not help but think those noises sounded like another set of footsteps that were not my own. There was a peaceful moaning sound that seemed to be in harmony with the creeking noises of the trees. As I continued on my way, drawn toward the captivating noises, I tripped and gently fell to the ground. As I looked back I clearly saw a headstone that was the reason for my unexpected fall. Could it actually be that the forest belongs to the half dead for one night of every year?
