“The pinks have it...”

Description from J Yee smart chick: This one is for everyone who encouraged me, while I pondered different color combos for my lariat class -

It was a lot of fun, I ended up using the pink shrimp seed beads, plus antique copper spacers, rose gold fire polished rounds, french pink fire polished rondelles, powder almond swarovski crystal pearls, some swarovski bronze crystal twisted pearls, antique pink swarovski bicone crystals, and rose gold foil beads for the tassels - they took a long time to make, because we used silk thread, strung our beads out to the end of a tassel, turned and went back thru all, except the seed bead on the end - I still have the lovely raspberry mocha rondelles, plus greige swarovski bicones, and raspberry shell pearls to use for the body of the lariat! I took some photos of the tassels, and will post them with this one as soon as I can get 'em off the memory stick, and onto my computer!! :)

Thank you Becky, Maria, Foxhill designs, Alice and Julie –
it was an adventure to take photos with my little digital camera last nite, some were not in focus, etc – and not so easy to show you all how the colors truly look in “real life” – it was very fun to lay my tubes of the two types of seed beads side by side, both the beige/pink and frosted pink shrimp side by side – the beige/pink seed beads are just a bit darker than the pink shrimp, and have a sort of shiny finish, vs. the more gentle matte finish of the shrimp – doesn’t that sound like a funny/odd comment, if you overheard someone talking that way in an airport or restaurant???

Becky, I still plan to put those lovely charming smoky moon beads to use in another piece, they are too irresistible not to use somehow, somewhere – just have to figure out what else to combine ‘em with, besides one of those lovely Kylie Parry owl pendants – :)

Hello again everyone, I finally got ahold of the program for my digital camera that has to be installed, before I can download any pics off the camera’s memory card, I am not done making the tassel strands for the first tassel, but here goes, wanted everyone to see how they have turned out so far:

Oops, none are in focus, when I clicked on them, they looked more in focus when I saw them on my camera’s screen display, my apologies! :(
