“Tile Job”

Description from Deb Harding: This would make an interesting tile treatment for a rustic looking bathroom. I think teal tiles should also be included. A teak inclosed tub. Rusted iron light fixtures. Hexagon terra cotta drain tiles stacked for a storage feature. Lots of huge teal towels. Obviously you would have to have bunches of teal birds for decoration.

What a great idea, Deb – - would love my bathroom to look like this ! But also just got some terra cotta seed beads and think I definitely need to use some of them with aqua – - thanks for the inspiration.

I agree! I have always wanted to learn to make custom tiles, too!

Really? Hmm I just don’t think my artistic talents are good enough that I would want anyone else to see them if I did. I could make many other things for that bathroom, or any other room in the house really, that would look fantastic. Tile I think I will let someone else make for me & I will arrange them in a stunning design.

Lovely & eye catching color mix. Be careful, from experience I can tell you bathroom redos are expensive, time consuming, and inconvenient. Still, if it looked this pretty it would be worth a lot!

I’m not actually redoing my bathroom. Mine would be beach themed with pink, seashells and beadboard anyway.

    Stunning! Striking! Stupendous!
Terra cotta tiles are SO pretty. I think pulling some of the creamy-beige out of the Gaea lotus would make it soft and soothing too! :)

Very lovely! This would make beautiful jewelry as well as a stunning bath. If I were to redo my bath it would be in greens and blues.

Thank you every one. I started this because I was looking at the teal pieces with the rust. So then I looked up terra cotta and found all those seed beads. Asia there are 9 actually!! I want some now. Id like them even better if they were peanut seed beads.

I bought a couple sizes of the terra cotta to mix with jaspers. It’s a nice contrast, but still the earthy colors.
