Description from Chicky Chicky Blueroze: While watching The Learning Channel program Moving Up, I was thinking how I would love to have a recessed tin ceiling and this got me to looking at all the filigree pieces here.

ChickyD aka Debra says:Really cool pick! When we restored our house in Indiana (1886), we used something called Anagalypta (probably GROSSLY misspelled) on the ceiling. It’s an embossed wallpaper they used to use to imitate a tin ceiling. You apply it to the ceiling and paint it. Your pick reminds me of it tremendously.

Leslie W Mtn Chick says:Great pick! Last week I went to a shop and saw some interesting tin pieces. One was a full size mirror with the frame made of tin about 12″ size squares. It was antiqued in cream and was a great wow piece. Also they had picture frames made out of small tin squares. The last item was a two foot tin square with a square cut out of the center with the edges rolled back to reveal a picture within. They were great!!!
