“Toad the Wet Sprocket”

Description from Elis Mom: Whew! This pick has taken all day due to computer issues! But, there is a story! I was working on a project last night, and was opening a package of "Gears and Sprockets". I had green and brown beads in front of me...and the term "Toad the Wet Sprocket" just jumped into my head! The history is that Toad the Wet Sprocket was one of my favorite bands when I was in college in the 80s. I couldn't tell you the name of a single song, or what type of music they played now, but I guess this is an homage to being at school and being just a bit different....

excellent pick! all I remember about the band is their name. I graduated in 1981 and spent much of the 80′s having babies.

I just saw this – great pick! I used to like Toad the Wet Sprocket too. Love their name – it came from a Monty Python skit. I remember Walk on the Ocean, All I Want, Fall Down, Something’s Always Wrong, but there was some earlier stuff that I liked too. I heard they were supposed to be putting out a new CD.
