Description from Luv2bead - Little Chick: Yesterday (around 4pm) we headed to my aunts house to set up (unfortunately without the package cause it hadn't come yet). It took about an hour to set up (and in the meantime my dad brought over my package which came after we left even though he was going to go camping...nice huh?) Anyway, then people started to come. Probably around 10-11 people came and I'm pretty sure everyone bought!!!! One lady even bought some Christmas presents!!!!!! Mom & I think it went very well for a "first" time thing! I handed out some papers telling how people can do a Home Party for me & what rewards they'd get! And I definitely have $$$ to buy beads (in case you were wondering)!!!!
btw: one of the first things that sold was my necklace/earring set "Bold & Beautiful" (in the design gallery).

Also, good lighting is very important! My aunts house didn’t have good lighting so my mom used a flashlight to spotlight the things people were looking at!! Also, you need at least one other person to help you!!!!! My mom talked to people I couldn’t talk to because I was talking to other people (if that makes sense)
Also, if you don’t mind making multiples of your pieces you’ll sell a lot more! My mom wore a necklace that I gave her for her birthday and I ended up selling 2 more of those (including matching earrings)! Make sure you let people know that they can try things on!!!!
One other tip…you should probably have some kind of special such as “if you spend $50 or more you get a free _____” because if someone spend $49 then that will encourage them to buy 1 more thing so they can have that free _______ then you’ll get some more $$$$ that way!
