I hate to complain, but I really needed her because my ankle is still not all the way better and I had 2 shows back to back, and lots of work! Sometimes I feel like all the things I do for everyone else makes no real difference. I am surely just feeling sorry for myself...

Faithful Chick aka Faith says:Well this is a very pretty blue pick. Sometimes I get beyond these kind of times by telling myself I am lucky to have any help at all. I know it is depressing to feel you do it all alone, but trust me we’re never alone. On those days I just say Lord I know I needed the exercise. Thank you for the help. (I hate exercise and house work.)

I volunteer 4 hours a week at my childrens karate school, clean at my in laws one day a week, and have all my kids to take care of too! When my SIL’s health was ailing last winter, and she was getting divorced, she moved in here and I took care of her for three months! I also packed up her house, and helped move her into an apartment. I dont think it was the help, so much as the dissappiontment, ya know?

I understand totally what you mean — you are such a giving person and when you give your word, you follow through. You assume that others will be that way, too, and when they’re not, it’s hard to understand. Sadly, I’ve been there myself. I wish we lived closer, because I’d have been there in a heartbeat to help you out, my sweet Bubbly Chick!

Little Round Chick says:It is difficult to understand how a person can say they will help you then bail out of it especially after you provided care and help when she needed it. I agree with Funny Chick…some people think they deserve what ever they want regardless of the inconvenience to others. I’m agree with Lynn and if I lived close enough I’d be glad to help. I’m afraid if I had been doing a pick after this kind of situation mine would be in shades of RED! But I do love your blues.
