Anita QoG Funny Chick says:Good luck! It’s so hard, trying to find a good school & at the same time, not wanting them to go so far from home! I don’t envy you right now! But, honestly, it does work itself out!! I was lucky, both kids picked the same school (they’re 3 years apart) so, the year they were both in school at the same time, was alittle difficult. But, now they’re on there own, and doing just great!! HANG IN THERE!!!!!!

AllureofGemsGlamJulia says:UNCG is a very good school especially for future teachers. They have wonderful music department , I had quite a few of my piano students going there.Greensboro growing fast too.
Also if you will decide one day to visit Charlotte, NC let me know:)
We may meet:) We live currently in SC but it is actually one of the suburbia places of Charlotte. We lived in Charlotte (15 minutes away from our present home in SC) for 28 years:).Charlotte is quite beautiful city too:)

Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:A southern belle – That’s why your picks are so elegant! Sam is thinking about a teaching degree as something to fall back on. She planning to major in Spanish and hopes to translate someday.
Sam’s dream school is American Univ. in DC. But they’re almost $50,000/yr and rather arogant about financial aid.
I would love to visit Charlotte someday. We didn’t have time on our grand tour of NC colleges last year. We get down to Youngsville/Wake Forest a few times a year to visit friends and relatives.
