“Trip to the Vet....”

Description from Classy Chick JbyJill: Victoria and I had our trip to the vet. She was tested for Feline Leukemia... and the result was negative!! Thank goodness. But she did have several other ailments.... Roundworm, fleas, earmites, parasites in her eyes which is related to a respiratory infection.... Well, with 4 prescriptions, several tests, 3 shots, and appt. for a spay later we were out the door with a $315 bill!!! Actually, it is a worthwhile an investment for all of our kitties to keep them healthy!!! It sounds terrible, but I really think she is going to A OK!!!! :)

Wow!!!! Huge vet bill, but so glad to hear that Victoria is not positive for feline leukemia. That stuff kills.
Sounds like all the rest is stuff she can survive. I am so glad.

Sorry I had to leave w/o finishing my comment. We have a big storm headed our way with winds already clocked over 65 mph. Had to move a few plants to sheltered spots.
I wanted to say that I really like this pick.

Jill, I’m so glad to hear Victoria tested negative for feline leukemia — what a relief for you! Sorry to hear she has so many other “boo-boos”, but at least they are all treatable — for a mere $315. LOL But, what price can you put on love? I don’t even want to think of all the money we’ve spent over the years on our 2 tiny dogs. Vets don’t give a discount for size! LOL They are SO worth it, though!

Vet bills can hurt when they come out of the blue like that, but amortized over a lifetime of snuggly love, not so bad! Congratulations on your new family member!

So glad “Queen” Victoria is going to be alright! (In her pic she looks as if she thinks it’s all about her AKA Queen) Except for the parasites in her eyes everything sounds pretty much like normal ’stuff’ for a stray cat.
She’s a lucky cat to have you to take care of her!

Yeah…. I thought all the “stuff” that was wrong seems to be normal for a stray. She seems to be a little better today. Boy, she sure doesn’t like her medicine She is a very snuggly kitty and I think she will be OK!
