Love, LOVE Turquoise Smoke! The pale blue stones remind me of Dry Creek turquoise, one of my favorite turquoise stones mined in Nevada. Mixing it with white stones really works and of course you can’t go wrong with turquoise and brown.

Blue and brown always look good together in my mind. I love that you used the Brioche Agate (one of my favorites), Labradorite and African Jade with the blues, very cool. I find it interesting, though, that there is no actual turquoise in your pick by oversight or by design.

Hey Cas, Interesting!!! I didn’t use turquoise did I. But the name came from a color impression not the stone type. I totally didn’t start out the process of picking out my choices with the idea that actually happened. Isn’t that the way most things happen? lol

I also love the combination of Vintaj brassy-brown and blue. I keep seeing picks with the Magnesite Nuggets and I would love to see how these are really used in actual pieces.

I’ve been doing a lot of stuff out of turquoise and copper lately. I just love it. I also have done turquoise and silver stuff. I’m not sure what the attraction is but I’m really loving this pick and am kicking myself that I didn’t see it earlier when I placed my last order.
