Our pastor surprised them by renewing their vows on Sunday morning at church in front of the congregation! It was really sweet! I wonder if he will be around in the next 37 years to renew ours?!? Seeing as how he also married us way back in 1996!

We’ve never renewed our vows publicly, but every year on our anniversary, we semi-jokingly agree to renew each other’s contract. I guess it’s worked because we’ve been married 34 years this past March 15!
