Alice, thanks for asking about my dad. Dad was doing much better when I visited, he was sent to a rehab hospital in Honolulu a couple days after I arrived, and is still there recuperating. The program is helping him get stronger – he can walk short distances okay, it’s maintaining his balance that he needs help with. He was supposed to go home on Dec. 31st but the staff said they found some irregular substance in his urine, go figure – dad has definitely been feeling so much better and is hopeful about going home, I hope it won’t be much longer.

Very pretty pick for a bitterly cold day – 10 degs in Memphis this a.m. only warming into the low 20s. Should be back to normal next week – I hope! Stay warm yourself and take care – Love ya!
