Lovely pick (or should I say “prayer”?) for rain, Debra! Your GGP pieces are perfect for this! :D

Have you thought about doing an actual rain dance? LOL ;-)

Texas is usually so lush and green but HOT! California is in the middle of a drought so I wish we would get rain too! This is a gorgeous pick though and a fav.

Kansas has been getting both…heat & rain. It’s been mid to high 90′s during the day, then rains at night, then back to heat the next day. It’s been in the upper 70′s in the mornings here. Muggy as ever. Sorry for the drought in California and the no rain wherever you are Debra. Where are you? Great pick btw.

    Debra, what a lovely pick!!!
Can I wish for rain on it, too? I wish, I wish… ;)
Our W. TX. county is still under burn ban, because we are so dry. We always worry about people shooting fireworks, often illegally, out here in the county where I live. The townies seem to think it’s OK as long as they don’t get caught. Too often, what gets “caught” is pasture, and even homes- caught on fire!!!
Family down the street from us lost their roof, @ a year ago.
    Come on, RAIN!!!!!!!

Thanks, y’all. I’m in Temple where is was 106 yesterday. It’s been well over 100 every day this week. These are UNSEASONABLE temperatures. Yes, it gets hot in Texas, but June is usually quite pleasant, by Texas standards. The REAL heat usually arrives in August.

I could actually see rainclouds just east of here yesterday afternoon.

Harriet, after 2 months with good rain, we’re under a burn ban, too. I feel for you in west TX!

Debra, I turned on our local weather channel yesterday morning, and it said “chance of rain: 0 %.” Hope your chances are better. I’ve been afraid to look for today. :-)

wish we could send our rain to y’all… we’ve had more than our share!

  9. CAS
    CAS says:

Amen Mystic Chick! It took nearly a week for the grass to be dry enough for me to mow it without clogging up the lawnmower.

    Pretty pick Debra! :)

    ChickyD aka Debra says:

    Thanks, CAS!

104 for today, 103 for tomorrow, 101 for Sun. And VOILA Monday: 98 with 10% chance of rain. I can hardly wait…

  11. Chippy Chick aka Lindys
    Chippy Chick aka Lindys says:

You Chickys want rain, trade houses with me! We here in Philly have had rain (lots of it!) for nearly 22 out of 26 days this month! We’re sick of it! I need the sun! Maybe this is why I’ve been drooling over the Chalcedony beads for days on end! Dreaming for blue skies!

  12. Chicky Bear-Tara
    Chicky Bear-Tara says:

Seems like when it rains it pours and when it’s hot it’s boiling. Puns intended.

  13. Mayan Chick - Lilly
    Mayan Chick - Lilly says:

Wishing for rain your way, Debra! This is a beautiful pick.
