Description from Cuban Queen Crazy Chick: I was fortunate enough to spend part of my childhood in Woodstock and I absolutely loved it. I currently live only 20 minutes away and go to visit every summer...it's always fun to see new shops that open up as well as all of the same colorful characters--hippies--of the town.

I was too young for the concert at Woodstock, but my sister was just the right age (she didn’t go) But, I remember all of her Hippy friends!! wearing peace necklaces & bell-bottoms I fringed vests, SO COOL, at least that’s what they thought. It’s really funny to think about………………..

Cuban Queen Crazy Chick says:Yeah and there are still a lot of hippies in Woodstock, it’s like being in a time warp! I love it though, it’s very laid back with a strong emphasis on spirituality (among other *green* things, if you know what I mean!)

Anita QoG Funny Chick says:Yeah! We have what we call Earth-tones around here!! They’re the same way. Alot of *Get togethers* around the camp fires, so you don’t notice the smell as much!!! They all are tring to live off the grid. Solar panels, and anything else you can think of.
