Elaine aka Belly Chick says:I love this! Even though I’m not a fan of orange, it works together so well with purple! Who knew?

Cuban Queen Crazy Chick says:Out there? No way!! This is gorgeous!!!

Kitty Chicky Cat says:Thank you ladies! Orange isn’t my color either but it’s starting to grow on me. I think it works because it is dual chromatic (I seem to do a lot of that!), there isn’t a lot of pattern, and the colors have the same vibrancy and saturation. . . Or something like that. lol

Karen H aka Fancy Chick says:Who would have thought! Great thinking outside of the box! My box, anyway! Love it.

Smoky Rose says:it is! I keep trying to push myself outside my box too. I think – if the day ever comes that I make jewelry for real, I’ll have to make stuff other than ‘My box’ and roll with fashion – that’s why I’m trying to use yellows and things I’m not normally drawn to for me/Mary jewelry. – The challenge games were great for that!

Smoky Rose says:and funny – I know, I’m repeating myself from yesterday, sorry – how even when gals use things their not ‘comfortable with’, like the orange for you, Kitty – we still make very pretty things!

Kitty Chicky Cat says:Awww! Thank you Chickies!

Kitty Chicky Cat says:I always say the mark of a good designer is that they can make something beautiful for the client and give them what they want when it is opposite of the designer’s taste! But we as designers need to too remember to keep that trademark spark (whatever it may be) in our work as we try to please the consumer. If it’s not fun and doesn’t look like “you” anymore something has gone wrong!
