(Vanna White has a color line of Lion Brand Yarn–all earthy colors–that I use as a gauge. My own personal color shopper) Fire engine red and Kelly green weren’t invented for Christmas. 
This is very nice!! I was also looking at those new vintage Christmas beads to do something like this but I like your idea much better!
