tell me that it is not snowing where you are? this is beautiful, snow princess, ice princess looking – I just hope you put it together from memory and not real ‘live’ snow now ;)

Thank you Mary!!! Yup! It’s really snowing. We’re expected to get about a foot. It’s beautiful but I would have preferred a good spring rain!

Oh my gosh! You poor thing! – and I’m here griping about 45 degrees.
May I ask, where are you?

hope the snow doesn’t last too long, that’s a lot to get, especially in march?? or is that normal this time of year? beautiful icy Pick – love “folating” – what does that mean? :)

I’m in Colorado. It’s normal for us to get snow in March and we haven’t had much this winter. But don’t worry, it will probably all be gone the same day the sun comes out. The flakes started out HUGE and they don’t seem to fall, almost as if gravity has little effect on them, they really do look like downy feathers floating on a light breeze.

And thank you! I’m glad you like it! :)

Wow Kitty – didn’t expect to see another snow pick. When I went to school upstate NY, we’d have snow through Easter. And there’d usually be one rogue storm early May. I’m really hoping for spring sunshine soon!

Please help a former student with her science fair project. This is legitimate!

This is Jessica. I am conducting a third grade research project and I would like your help.

It is about cats. I want to find out if more cats are right handed or left handed.

To accomplish this I would like your help. If you do not own a cat, could you please forward this survey onto your friends who do?

Dangle a piece of string or ribbon in front of your cat and note if he/she uses their right or left paw first. Email me the answer by April 3rd.

    Thank you for your help.

    I’ll pass on your responses.
    thanks, Jeanne

interesting study- we have 2 cats
Neely she used her right paw at first but left paw was only a swat away.
    Sergei- used his left paw

    Kitty Chicky Cat says:

Test was inconclusive. he batted with his right first but he was reclining on his left. will try again later when I catch him sitting upright.

    I have 3 cats.
If I remember, I’m gonna try this – I’m really curious to hear the results too.
I hear ya, Kitty – getting them to sit upright will be the key for me. They are the most spoiled cats on the block, paws down!

    Kitty Chicky Cat says:

Success! I think. he reached with his right first. does that make him right pawed? he was just as happy to give the left paw a chance at it too though. I think cats are ambidextrous!

have to change my results from this morning- Sergei used his right paw- my son said left because he was facing the cat and it was Cams left but Sergeis right- does that make sense. So I guess I have 2 right pawed Cats. Although if we tried again this afternoon it might go the other way.
