J Yee smart chick says:thanks, in WA state we have some huge old “grandfather/grandmother” cedar trees, the indigenous tribes used to make so much out of the trees, from canoes, to clothing (cloaks, hats etc) to baskets… we don’t have much “old growth” forests left due to so much clear cutting by companies like weyerhauser
