Hello, my name is Mary and I live in southern Indiana with my hubby of 21 years. We are living our dream out in the country in a log home with 2 dogs, 2 parrots and 3 cats.
I’ve always been a ‘rock hound’ so beading just came naturally. Although I think I am as much inclined to “collect” gemstone beads as I am to use them in a jewelry piece.
I started making jewelry about 7 years ago. And I sell my pieces mainly at Art Festivals, small shops and word of mouth.

Jess, you are awesome! This helps a lot.
I really like the organic/messy look. It’s just going to take me some time and practice to figure out how to incorporate this new component into my designs.
Thank you so much for sharing!
I keep coming back to this beauty,Jess. Like Laud, I’m impressed with the silk. It intrigues me but I have trouble figuring it out too. If you don’t mind my asking, how did you attach the ribbon end next to your candy piece? Looks like a knot but maybe you wrapped waxed linen to secure it?
