It is the impression jasper one that is wrapped with copper wire! I love how it is done! I was mostly curious as to whether you kinda formed it around the stone and wrapped as you went or if you did the wire wrapping first and then put the stone in the little cage and finished it off? I hope I’m explaining it okay.

Can you tell me which of the pendants you are refering too? Only one of the pendants I’ve posted is a cab. The rest of them are drilled stones. Each style requires a different type of wire wrapping. I’ll do my best to describe it but for the most part, I do what the stone tells me. Someone posted a tute A LONG time ago in the Gallery for wrapping cabs. I’ll look around and see if I can find it and get back to you.

Mary, I was wondering about how you do your wire wrapping with your pendants and such! Do you form the wire cage as you go and then put your cabochon down in it? I have a bunch of beach stones that I found two weeks ago at Tawas Beach, Lake Huron in Michigan and I really wanna do them justice but I’m not quite sure how! I have done a few rather simple but I like how you kinda make a little cage around them…it looks more secure!
