I was born and raised in Hawaii, mostly in urban Honolulu. My sense of color tends to come from the many diverse Asian and Pacific Islander cultures, as well as the lovely natural environment – beaches, tropical plants and flowers, animals…

I currently live in Seattle WA, and am attending graduate school at Antioch University locally. I’m studying Organizational Psychology which focuses on how organizations and groups can be healthy and effective…
Otherwise I’m working part time in a workstudy job… I began my professional life years ago as an engineer, switched to doing social service work as an advocate in the Seattle area in the past 10 years. I’ve also worked as a community organizer, mostly unpaid.

My parents still live in Hawaii, plus my eldest sister and youngest brother, and many aunties, uncles and cousins on both sides of the family.
