Very nice Peggy, love turquoise and this is very nice, as you say,coral works well with turquoise, as the native American Indians used to put these two stones together, but pearls are just as good and give an added lustre to the piece.

Hi Peggy, as Nancy mentioned, it could be a crack in the stone itself, usually wire wrapping is ok, although I have had a few briolettes that have broken, which was because the hole was drilled too close to the edge, so it does happen sometimes, but not often ~ don’t be afraid to try again [...]
