I forgot to include the fact that I have had a Yahoo-hosted online store for about a year and find Yahoo just as friendly and hospitable as Lima Beads. The address is http://www.beads-by-design.com where all that I make is shown. And Bing shows my ads for my products. Please wish me well.
Hello, all of you Beaders who have also discovered this site for purchasing beads and supplies and where the people are so friendly and hospitable. When I discovered Lima Beads about 1-2 years ago, I was, first, greatly attracted to their little cute, colorful, fun site and, second, to how easy navigation was. But I am certainly finding that this site is every bit as easy to navigate and is definitely pleasant on the eyes, but not as cute. But I’m getting over it.
Now let me introduce myself. My name is Joan, we have been married for 53 years now and have 2 married sons. We live in central Texas where the summers are definitely dependably HOT and the winters are almost not, and I have been stringing beaded jewelry and wrist watches and Anglican and Catholic rosaries for about 9 years. Stringing is easy, but it’s the designing that can slow me down. My husband and I participate in our local farmers’ market where he offers for sale his hand-thrown functional pottery and I, my beads. We have a really nice group of about 20 regular vendors, most of whom grow produce, and the others, make handmade goods.
This is me in a nutshell. I hope all is well with you. With many blessings.
