I hear you, Deb. They had a submission call for November….A friend of mine was supposed to be in October. I think the only fair thing to have done would be to cease submission calls and publish until the last month of those submission calls. Deb, the glaze makes all the difference! I usually use a pea sized puddle of color to a nickel sized puddle of glaze. I also leave the paint brush slightly more than damp when applying…then tilt the blank to let the colors blend.

Ed, the clasp actually falls at the collarbone, which isn’t evident by the photo. I didn’t want it to detract from the focal.

Oh! I forgot to mention that for me, it’s best to take my photos in the AM, in a slightly shaded area. Needs to be before 10AM, or the light’s too bright. You’ll have to find a spot around your house that works. Mine is on the west facing side. And, I can adjust brightness and [...]

Hi Mary! Does your camera have rechargable batteries? Mine dose, but I just use regular ones. Cameras DO drain batteries quickly. I get maybe 32 shots with my HP Photosmart, which is ages old, and only 3 megapixels, I think. My phone has an 8 MP camera with Hi Def that I sometimes use. I don’t [...]
