I have had a love for creating jewelry for over 10 years. I started out making christmas jewelry out of Fimo and Sculpy clay, and although tedious to make, they sold very well. Since then, I discovered some bead shops in New York while on vacation on the fashion district and had to browse. I bought a few things and came back to Virginia to create! We have only two bead shops here in my local area! My dream would be to open my own bead shop but I have no business sense and no money to start!
I’m a single mother, a full time leasing agent in property management. My son is 9 and we have a lovely dog. I love family and cherish my friends, who by the way, none of them are crafty and don’t want to be!
I came here by way of a magazine, and have enjoyed my time so far and hope to make lots of friends! I have sold my jewelry to friends and family, given it away as Christmas presents, and I have a dear friend who is a celebrity photographer who lives in LA. I would love to someday see a piece I made land on the neck or wrist of a model and see it in one of his magazine shots!!! I’ve tried selling my jewelry online via a website with some luck, but I rather like the educational value of teaching younger students how to make and create their own jewelry!
