I was born and raised in New York City and lived much of my adult life in New England. I now live in a suburb of Toledo, Ohio, where in real life (not jewelry life!) I am a brand marketing executive. For many years, I worked as creative director for a kitchen products company you may recognize, Calphalon.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Emerson College and attended the Indiana University Graduate School of Fine Arts, where I studied photography.

I am an activity addict. My grandpa used to say, “She can’t sit a minute still!” I work off my energy by always having some sort of creative pursuit going outside the confines of my day job. I love to cook and throw parties. I have acted in community theater productions. I even go to Karaoke bars now and then.

I started making jewelry about 18 months ago. People seem to really like it, so I have been selling it at local galleries, boutiques, art shows and private trunk shows. With any luck, I will be launching an online shopping gallery within the next couple of weeks.

I am married to the man who was my boyfriend at age 18. We’ve been together 32 years (you do the math) and we have 18-year old twin sons. I also have a golden retriever named Sophie who is the light of my life.

I am grateful for the support I have received at Lima Beads–and to Lima Beads the company for creating this wonderful little community for us!
