Chippy Chick aka Lindys

My name is Linda aka Chippy Chick aka Lindy’s Whimsies! We live in Bensalem PA, just north of Philadelphia. I’m married, 36 yrs this Nov. and have two children who have flew-the-coop. Both kids are married; Jenny lives in Tracy CA with her husband Phil and two adorable girls, Jordan 5 and Audrey 3.
Our son Kevin is an ER Physician and his wife Krissy is a pediatrician; they live in Buffalo NY (no children yet, just Rocco their Springer Spaniel).
We also have four furry kids; Ozzy and Rosie our Cairn Terriers and George and Gracie our cats! So if there’s fur in any of my pictures you know why!

Gracie’s a great help with beading, HaHa! She loves to walk across my beading board throwing seed beads everywhere and she has a craving for beading wire! Lots of kinks when she done chewing it. She also likes to hide the spools.

I started beading about 4 years ago. I was on the internet surfing and watched a video on wire wrapping cabochons. I said I can do that, it looks like fun!
I stopped at Michael’s and got a book. tools and beads on my way home from work. That’s when the craziness hit me! I haven’t been the same since!

I ‘m a Sagittarian, so I’m pretty creative. I’ve always had a knack for drawing, painting with water colors, oils & colored pencils, sewing and cross stitch. Along with my beading, I’ve begun working with PMC and polymer clay.

I’ve presented my jewelry at various area craft shows and by having home jewelry parties. Now I’m developing a website for my jewelry designs. My hubby says I better start to sell my work or we won’t be able to walk through our basement soon!
