Perfect combination! Boo hoo, almost everything I wanted on here is gone.

  • Batticat commented on the Fresh Pick “Beach Beauty”   3 weeks, 3 days ago

I just love this pick. Should get a POD, and then I could order the many items I love in here. First time I’ve seen the Octopus and the very cute beach house bead. The bright cool aqua green is like the Caribbean ocean and a favorite color of mine. A Fave.

Congrats on POD. The rusted pendants really need the sparkle to brighten them up. You made a great choice. I would use the champagne crystals with some silver, or with some beige gemstones to make a neclace with a rusted pendant. I especially like the peacock crystals with the rust, and maybe a darker ribbon or [...]

Clever idea! The various textures add interest. A fave.

  • Batticat commented on the Fresh Pick “Isabella”   3 weeks, 3 days ago

There is something very refreshing about this. It was put up 2 months ago, so I’m a bit behind, but it really intriques me. The mermaid seems to be the focal with the ocean colors and the black adds emphasis. The orange donut seems like the sun to me. A fave!

  • Batticat commented on the Design “Sister in Law’s Earrings”   3 weeks, 4 days ago

They are both lovely. The first one is my favorite because it is so different and great for casual wear with the natural look of the stones.

  • Batticat commented on the Design “Indian Dreams”   3 weeks, 4 days ago

I love the combination of subtle soft colors.

  • Batticat commented on the Design “All You Need is Love”   3 weeks, 4 days ago

Do those rectangular seed beads have polka dots on them? Everything does go very well together. I especially like the unique toggle.

  • Batticat commented on the Design “The Hidden Door Necklace”   3 weeks, 4 days ago

You have a very elegant and luxurious style and it is so kind of you to share detailed info on how you work. I love all the necklaces of yours that I have seen.

  • Batticat commented on the Design “Look to the Past #1”   3 weeks, 6 days ago

I just saw these now and they are absolutely unique and stunning. I especially love the blend of colors on the blue and green one and using those charming thimbles is a very creative idea.

  • Batticat commented on the Fresh Pick “Floating Away”   1 month ago

Not too late to make this a FAVE!

  • Batticat commented on the Design “Psychedelic Bead”   1 month ago

This is fantastic! I didn’t know how to use the superduos. Your photo makes it easy to see. It would make a beautiful watch band also.

  • Batticat commented on the Design “Indian Blanket Weave”   1 month ago

This design turned out great. You must have patience to do this so perfectly. I was using the regular beading thread, which worked fine. Once I discovered the wild fire I felt it would be even stronger.

  • Batticat commented on the Design “Black Woven Design Bead Loomed”   1 month ago

I was studying the various Native American techniques, but not using a loom. I haven’t really completed anything, too much experimenting, having fun.I did find out I like doing the peyote stitch. Your design and colors are beautiful. I think size 8 seed beads make it easier than smaller ones.
