I am celebrating my two year anniversary creating jewelry this month. I started out with stringing (which I still love), dabbled in a little seed bead work, and have recently been working on overcoming my fear of wire. I bought a couple of Sharilyn Miller’s books, started at the beginning, and vowed to work all the way to the end. I’m almost there! I enjoy working with the heavier gauge wire and am having fun exploring patinas.
I live in Alpharetta, GA, about 20 miles north of Atlanta. I have two adult children, one son-in-law, and two wonderful grandsons. I worked as a pharmacist for 35 years. I retired last year (those 12 hour workdays were no longer much fun), and I am now spending much of my time playing with beads and wire.
