Personal

I’m a retired Kindergarten teacher and had only a passing acquaintance with beading until 4 years ago. After my husband of almost 40 years passed away I was left with too much time on my hands. It was at that point I discovered a local bead shop that had classes for beginners. I took a class and discovered that beading is habit forming. My jewelry cup runneth over and I am seriously involved in setting up a web site.

    Hey, Little Round Chick!

If you think LB beaders love cats, you should check out the Fresh Daily Blog page and read the one called ”We Love Our Pets”. You’ll be amazed at the variety of furry and feathered babies we have! I know I was! :D It’s located in the lefthand column under the Design Gallery. Enjoy! :D

You will note the very gray hair…20 years of teaching in kindergarten will do that to you.

We don’t really begin to cool down nicely until in late September, or early October. And that is just what WE think is cool. I’m always glad to have days that are only in the 80’s or low 90’s instead of high 90’s or over 100. It’s 100 right now, and still climbing, but we should cool off down to about 78 or 80 by dawn tomorrow. ;)
