We FINALLY got rain last Sat. One day away of making the record of 41 days 100+ temps. But that’s one winner I can do without. Went to a wholesale bead show the same day. NICE stuff!! Thought about you, but wasn’t given enough notice to get something together. Bought some beautiful bloodstone, green kyanite, garnets, yellow jade, raw amber, pink keishi pearls, and yellow turquoise (not the greenish/black stuff…this is a deep mustard color. It’s probably really jasper, but they swore it was turq). The Iolite kept calling my name, but I had to resist. Now, it’s time to get busy. Here’s a site that you may not know about. We did get some rain…2 days in a row. The first day wasn’t much, but last night was a good old fashioned Thunderstorm. Lightening hit a transformer at the Movie Theater we were at last night, lost power and everything!
