Hello, I am new to jewelry making and have spent more time buying beads than making pieces. What I have made, I am proud of. My biggest problem is in the finishing — adding the clasps without having hunks of knots showing. Consequently I have about 6 new necklaces made with no clasps attached. I just need to sit down and practice, practice, practice.
Thanks to Lima, I have a tremendous selection of high quality gemstones in all colors (and at sale prices) so I will miss the daily pick sales.
I am a horticulturist but had to put aside that career when fibromyalgia tried to take over my life. I won’t let that happen so here I am.
My husband is a college/university professor and teaches a lot online. He is about to begin his year as a Rotary International District Governor which will keep us very busy.
I have two grown sons and two grandsons ages 6 and 8.
