I recently retired after 30 years of teaching. I started beading about three or four years ago and sold a few things at work, but mostly I gave my pieces as gifts. Now I’m thinking of selling, especially now that I have the time, err…actually I’m finding that in retirement I’m busier than ever! I do want to sell online, but I’m technically challenged, so with trepidation, here I go! I want to try to put some things in the design gallery, but like I said, I’m a little techno challenged! Hopefully I’ll learn the ropes soon.
UPDATE: Still not there yet. I realized that I need a light box to take pictures, otherwise they look awful! Any hints?
UPDATE#2 10/8/11: I just got my light box from Amazon.com today; will have to try it out soon. I have not updated my website. I’m as slow as molassas when it comes to using technology.

I never thought of pairing abalone with copper, but from the looks of it in this photo, it really goes well. I may have to try some. I really like rings, so this caught my eye. It’s very artsy. Love it

Ditto to everything above; I wish I knew how to convey this piece’s beauty, but I don’t know how to say it differently than what’s already been said. Your client is one lucky woman to own this piece. It’s a stunning work of art! It sure caught my eye as I was perusing for eggs!
