I’ve been beading for 2 years now (time flys). As you can see from my Fresh Picks, I like color – lots of it. I am not afraid to take chances and mix it up a bit. In fact, sometimes “helpful shoppers” try to get me to be less adventuresome, but the bead shop gals tell them to back off and “let her eyes work”. Silver is my favorite metal, followed by copper, then bronze and gold. My favorite place to shop for stones and beads is the discount table and bargin bin – not just the price – things really jump out from the jumble of color – things I just can’t see when they are neatly organized.

Last night I woke up thinking about a strand of raspberry-colored beads and pairing them up with black beads! Alas, I have to go to work – there’s a project waiting for me that won’t tolorate me to call in sick (with the bead sickness, of course!!!
