Love the texture on the Greek keys. Btw, if you heat copper wire it becomes very pliable. Once the wire is shaped just lay it on the bench block and hammer to harden. I usually only use the 22 g to make headpins for fwp.

Love them both…the pearls for dressier occasions and the jasper for casual. This design would look great with a one shouldered dress or top…the stones on one side would balance the fabric on the other.

You could use wire to chain the chips together, and hang like three strands of chains from each link in the knitted chain. Or you could string all of the chips on a fine wire and crochet the wire, slipping a chip into the mesh every few stitches. This would probably end up with an element [...]

You may not be able to find those exact pearls, but maybe coin pearls or cornflake pearls. This design is just too special to not have a sister.

I like #3, but I know a lot of people who couldn’t process a design with that much “asym”. My vote is to get more of those pearl drops and make one of each. I would most definitely wear this!

It’s a block of metal…mine is a 4×4 piece of hard steel that cost about $15…available at bead and craft supply shops. Serves 2 purposes…a hard surface to pound against so you can get nice pieces of flattened or hardened wire, AND it protects you tabletop from the hammer.
